Throughout my 20 years I have participated in many physical activities such as basketball, soccer, swimming, softball, and even some football. This is my third year on the Crusader track team in which I compete in the long jump, triple jump and the occasional sprint race. Sports have always been my main pass time and have caused me some injuries. I recently broke my arm during a powderpuff football game which resulted in 10 metal pins and a plate which will forever be embedded in my right arm. One broken arm was well worth all of the joyous times participating in sports!
I have a great passion for young children and plan to transfer my love into a career. I a very excited to be a teacher in a little less than 2 years! My love for children developed from teaching swimming lessons. I have taught swimming lessons every summer for the last 7 years and have enjoyed every minute. The feeling of teaching a little one how to swim is the best feeling I have ever experienced and I can not wait for the rewarding feeling of teaching a first grader how to read!
